Late in the game for "going green," America is no longer an economic empire, but a war-zone in pre-apocalyptic times.  When Sterling, a recent college graduate and increasingly aware of the abolition, hears rumor of a self-sufficient Green Island, he quits his position at a scandalous technology company, and deludes his younger sisters, Jadelynn and Penny, to flee to the Island.  A story of love, loss, and the human condition to survive, they struggle to find hope in a world without promise.
